The 2019 Gawler Ageing and Disability Expo is being held on Friday 5 April from 10am-1pm.

The Gawler Ageing and Disbaility Expo was held on Friday 5 April at the Gawler Sports and Community Centre

The Expo aimed to celebrate the ageing population and people with disability, while showcasing the diverse range of services, supports and activities that are available to help increase their ability to remain an active participant within the Gawler Community. With over 90 different registered stall holders, the Expos provided visitors with information that would help them to maintain choice and control over what might help them to continue living the life of their choice.

Special guest speakers, Costa Georgiadis from ABC’s Gardening Australia and Rebecca Sullivan, Author and TV presenter entertained the group with their interactive discussion. Entertainment was provided by Sing Australia and Eddie Edwards and Friends plus a free morning tea and door prizes were available to all visitors. Feedback collected on the day highlights how important and valuable residents found the day.
